News — Purple Tuesday
At Fremlin Walk, we believe in the power of inclusivity and accessibility. We are committed to providing a welcoming and accessible environment for all visitors See below what we are doing to make Fremlin Walk a comfortable and inclusive space.
Changing Places Toilets
Our commitment to inclusivity begins with our newly installed Changing Places toilet. These facilities are specially designed to cater to individuals with complex accessibility needs who require additional space and equipment to use the restroom safely. Our Changing Places toilet at Fremlin Walk offers the following accessibility features:
Ample Space: We provide a spacious area that allows wheelchair users to manoeuvre comfortably.
Height-Adjustable Changing Bench: For those who require assistance, we have included a height-adjustable changing bench.
Hoist: To ensure ease of mobility, we have installed a hoist.
Toilets and Baby Changing Facilities
We understand that accessible restroom facilities are essential. On Level 2 of the car park, near the lifts and steps by the Fremlin Archway on Earl Street, you can find male, female, and disabled toilets. These facilities also include baby changing areas. Additionally, House of Fraser offers restroom facilities.
For families, we have family toilets to make attending to your children’s needs convenient.
Wheelchair Hire
For those in need of mobility assistance, we offer wheelchair hire services. To book a wheelchair, please call 01622 356584, and kindly provide 24 hours’ notice to ensure availability.

This quiet room is available to both staff and guests. Access is easy; simply ask a member of our friendly staff for assistance or call 01622 356 580 for more information.
