News — Great Big Green Week
Great Big Green Week is the UK’s biggest-ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature. It takes place between 24th September – 2nd October and aims to support action to protect the planet.

The QUIZ Eco collection is their environmentally friendly range. The capsule collection is designed and manufactured in the UK via the Global Recycled Standard certified route. This range is a recycled polyester fibre made into fabric blends. Prints used are water-based- which uses fewer chemicals and in turn creates less waste. These designs are simple and classic- made to rewear.
Shop Superdry’s organic cotton range in-store today. Kinder to both planet and people, organic cotton saves up to 87% water and has a 14% lower carbon footprint when compared with conventional cotton. They offer sustainable cotton jeans, loungewear, shirts and more.
Looking for eco-friendly baby gifts?
Try the eco-baby range at Waterstones. This board book is designed to enhance your child’s reading experience, while also protecting the environment. Unlike other touch-and-feel books, Where Are You Tiger? doesn’t contain any plastic. Made from responsibly sourced cardboard, everything in this book is completely recyclable.
The Body Shop is a certified B-Corp! As a B Corp™, they’re required to meet the highest externally verified social, environmental and governance
standards.
All of their products are cruelty-free and sustainably sourced with their Community Trade partners. They also offer a refill service that helps limit plastic waste!
Schuh stocks a huge range of sustainable and vegan brands. Schuh is a carbon-neutral company and looking to further reduce their emission. They are making it super easy to shop sustainable items in-store and online- just look for the label!
Skechers ‘Our Planet Matters’ styles are made with recycled materials to reduce their environmental impact. These items are made from recycled materials and are vegan too!
River Island has pledged to do better for the planet. They’re designing more sustainable products, supporting responsible production and improving all their products to help reduce waste. All the cotton in their jeans is responsibly sourced, and soon 100% of the cotton will be recycled. They also have improved other areas of production. You can find out more here.

Pop into Pandora for sustainable jewellery. Pandora has a high ethical standard and high jewellery quality.. Before leaving the factory, each piece of jewellery goes through approximately 30 pairs of hands. They are also moving towards all their products being made from recycled silver and gold.
