This summer, discover a world of nature, imagination and family fun at Fremlin Walk.

Join us every Saturday in August for free themed events packed with interactive activities, creative workshops, larger-than-life characters and exciting wildlife experiences. Plus, complete our World of Wonder Trail throughout the summer for your chance to win a fantastic prize.

Whether you’re creating a flower crown, meeting amazing mini beasts or adding your thoughts to our Wonder Tree, there’s something new to discover each week.

World of Wonder Trail

Running 1st-22nd August 

Explore Fremlin Walk on our family-friendly World of Wonder Trail.

Follow clues inspired by bugs, flowers and the wonders of nature as you make your way around the centre. Pick up a trail sheet at one of our event days or click here to join the trail digitally to take part at any time.

Complete the trail and register your details to be entered into our prize draw.

Saturday 1 August

The Wonder Tree

Help our Wonder Tree grow by sharing what you love most about nature.

Write your answer to one of our nature-themed questions on a leaf-shaped card and add it to our community tree, creating a colourful display that blossoms throughout the day.

Keep an eye out for our beautiful butterfly stilt walker, who’ll be fluttering around the centre for plenty of magical photo opportunities.

Saturday 8 August

Bloom Fest

Celebrate the colours of summer at our floral-themed family event. Create your own flower crown and strike a pose in our beautiful floral photo area.

It’s the perfect day to get creative and make lasting summer memories.

Saturday 15 August

Mini Beasts’ Week

Get up close to some of nature’s most fascinating creatures. Meet live insects and reptiles, discover incredible facts about the natural world and build your own bug hotel to help wildlife at home. To gain entry to meet the mini-beasts you need to spend over £25 on the 15th of August and register here. Please show your receipt and registration confirmation to a member of staff.

Saturday 22 August

Wild Finale

Join us as we celebrate the final event in our World of Wonder summer programme.

Enjoy nature-inspired games and challenges, face painting, family fun and a visit from our buzzing bee stilt walker. It’s also your last chance to complete the World of Wonder Trail before our grand prize draw.

Don’t miss this exciting finale to a summer full of adventure.
