Streetcar at Fremlin Walk

Kent County Council and Streetcar - the UK's largest car club - are celebrating their first successful year by expanding their pay-as-you-go scheme in Maidstone.

In addition to the two cars outside County Hall, a third central location will be coming soon.

To promote the growing scheme, Streetcar and Kent Highway Services visited Fremlin Walk to show shoppers the cars and explain how the scheme works.

All the Streetcar vehicles in Maidstone are VW Polo Blue Motions, one of the greenest cars on the road, and they can be booked out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
